Assembling guide for a Volks Dollfie Dream Sister (DDS) body

As you see this is going to be totally different kind of post.
It seems I have been experimenting with lots of new stuff this year and this is one of them.
Both in terms of assembling and in writing a tutorial about it.
I believe I spoke about Volks Dollfie Dreams somewhere in my previous posts, maybe I even mentioned my plans to get one. That has been done, more or less. I decided to have a start by getting the body.

I got my hands on Volks Dollfie Dream Sister body parts. Normally if you wish to buy this directly from Volks I believe you have to purchase every part separately (and naturally hope everything will be in stock..).

Initial observations what I find to be very nice aspects in this body:
- Its size, its not quite as tall as DDII and DDIII bodies
- DDS body can still wear Volks DD outfits
- Enhanced posing abilities - arms have an extra joint and the body holds poses very well.

What you need:
The body itself consists of total 8 parts (excluding the head).
Here is the list of parts I have used - numbers differ according to skin color and options.
❀ M size bust - DDS-B-01
❀ Arms - DDS-A-01
❀ internal frame - DDS-BF-o1
❀ HDD-01 hands (basic hands)
❀ waist / lower torso - DDS-W-01
❀ thighs - DDS-HL-01
❀ shins - DDS-LL-01
❀ feet - DDS-FO-01
All parts out of box and ready for action
Getting started
Here we have all the body parts (8 in total).
They were all in separate boxes so took a little while to get them ready for action.

Each package contained assembling instructions in Japanese. I could make sense of them to some degree, but not too many pictures this time (remember seeing Unoa assembling guides with lots of pictures..).

Lovely instructions in Japanese.
I cannot say where you should start your assembling process. Some prefer to start building from bottom up. It seems I went in for kind of mixed plan. I started completing hands. Attaching hand parts to arms to get them out of the way.

Hands to arms
Please see the picture for reference in order to attach it the right way. Although I believe that hands don't quite fit on their place if you try to attach them the other way. So the flat side up. Then just slide each hand on their place using gentle amount of force.
Attaching the hands to arms - flat side up (arm parts).

When you have arms fully completed we move on...

I decided to 'attack' to complete the upper part of the body first. To my opinion attaching the thighs to shins is the most difficult / demanding part in the whole assembling process and this time I preferred to leave that among the last ones.

So, get ready for the next part by gathering the needed parts. First this funny looking internal frame as Dollfie Dream bodies are not hold together by strings like normal BJDs but they have sort of 'skeleton' within the body.
Slide internal frame to the peg. They fit nicely together.

Internal frame to lower torso
DDS Internal frame
Internal frame fits nicely to the peg sticking out from the waist / lower torso part. All you have to do is to slide the internal frame on its place. Which way, please see the picture.

Bust to lower torso
Attach internal frame / waist to bust part
Looks as pictured when its on its place
(observe from armpits)
The basic hands look like this.
You can also buy variety of different hand parts from Volks.
They are easy enough to change.
After you have attached internal frame to lower torso / waist part you need to apply the bust part in order to complete the whole upper body. Again, this is rather easily done. Just slide the bust part on the lower part so that the peg sticking from the top of the internal frame goes though the neck hole. Then just fit it right so that you are able to attach arms. Observe from the armpits - the holes should be in the middle.

After you have made it to this point all you need to do is to put the arms in their right places. Right and left, slide them in to holes you see in the middle of each armpit. Again you may need to apply a bit of gentle force as they are quite tight fit. This enables them to hold poses really well.

The upper part of the body completed
Missing legs..
Attaching thighs to shins
I found this to be the hardest part in the whole assembling process. From first glance you may observe that the parts don't even seem to fit together - the thigh holes look way too small to fit the 'huge' pegs sticking out from shins. Don't worry. However, I found it easier to work with after giving the vinyl a bit of 'heat treatment'. So I would suggest to use a hair dryer to make the vinyl more pliable. As I did not have access to hair dryer while doing this tutorial I resolved to boil some water and use the steam arising from it. Keep each thigh part above steam for a short while, not too long as you do not want to melt it.
Attach thighs to shins
When you feel the vinyl gives away a bit then proceed and use your fingers to get the peg from inside each thigh part and slide it outside through each hole. After this attach shins to the pegs - be careful which is right and which is left as it is rather hard to get them off should you not succeed in selecting the right parts. It can still be done so it is nothing final but makes it a lot easier to get it right the first time.
Get the peg from inside the thigh part and slide it outside through the hole.

When you have attached shins to the pegs sticking out from each thigh then you need to push this completed attached peg inside thigh. This requires you to use a bit of gentle force to get it all in but it is possible and something you need to do. If you wish you may use the heat treatment again to make the process easier.
It requires a bit more force to push the peg all the way inside.
Completed legs

Feet, legs & completing the rest
Feet to shin
Feet are rather easy after you have survived thighs and shins. Just slide the right foot to right shin. As far as it goes. Then you should have completed the legs. All that is left is attaching the legs to hip sockets. This is quite easy as well. You just fit the pegs sticking from hip sockets to each hole inside each thigh and push gentle to slide them as far as they go. When done you are able to test how the legs move.

Additional info: I understand that some owners prefer to attach aluminum reinforcement pieces in between the thigh - hip joint as this is one of the places where cracks may occur at later stage. I didn't have them for this tutorial but I might consider getting them later. I recommend you to take a look.

Once you have successfully attached thighs into each hip socket I can congratulate you for completing your assembling process. Now you should have the completed body (except for the head) ahead of you.

In order to complete your Dollfie Dream all you need is to attach a head into the body. This is done by sliding the peg sticking from the neck through the hole in the head. Volks sells variety of heads separately but you also have an option to hunt down a limited head. Limited models occasionally pop up at DoA marketplace.
All finished and completed
Sneak peak
I wish you luck with completing your own Dollfie Dream and I hope this tutorial helps you with your assembling process. Should there be any questions I am happy to try to answer them.

My DDS body. I believe I mentioned I plan to get a DD Saber. She originally had DDIII body which I do not like as much so getting the head separately is my decision. Off to DoA marketplace to check.

Next update will be about clothing. As I now have DDS body I have several plans to try out outfits in DD size. Those will be available later I hope.

Pair of new dresses

I have had huge stress over school lately.
Haven't had much time to think anything else.
New dresses - MSD and Tiny sizes for Dolliverse
Baby Pink Skin Soom Sammi will be
available for adoption at Dolliverse as well.
Now I seem to get more time for myself when most of the pressing matters have been done away.
Preparation for Dolliverse among other things.
I have been active in DoA posting a lot of stuff for sale which will be coming along to Dolliverse as well.

Here you can see a glimpse of two new dresses, out of japanese white/light blue dragonfly fabric, which will be at Dolliverse. One is Tiny sized baby doll -styled dress, another in MSD size with slight differences. This MSD dress is made to fit an MSD with more bust so I am trying to answer the demand here.

I was afraid I wouldn't have time to complete many Pullip sized dresses, but it appears I might have made some progress so there will be some available. Mostly layer dresses with different fabric designs :)

My Aileendoll Camellia arrived this week.
I was going to sell this wig but it looks rather cute on her...
Oh Mina! She has her own mind, different from my plans...

So what will be available at my table at Dolliverse?
Dolls - Soom Beauty, Soom Sammi, Luts Juri '05 head, Luts Kid delf Event head and Fairyland MNF Juri 2013 head up for adoption
Clothing - Pullip, Tiny, MSD, SD, Supergem - lots of different designs, some new things. Pullip dresses are all OOAK and won't be offered again.
Jewellery - different designs
Accessories - Props and other stuff for your dolls to use in various photoshoots
A Pullip custom - complete with face-up, Leeke wig, Tsukifly dress-set
Second-hand doll stuff - outfits (Volks, Dollheart etc.), wigs, eyes - all in various sizes

Yush, something listed to give you a hint. So do not miss Dolliverse on 29th June, 2014!

I hope to update at least once before the event, maybe pictures of the Pullip dresses / custom?

Delicate hairbands, talk and glass bottles

Another month has started and spring is quickly turning into summer.
So it feels with occassional +20 degrees looming outside.
I have worked on Tsukifly headbands - yes, more and more, for both dolliverse and the store.
Previously I ordered some Silver headbands - SD sized. I want to try out some delicate headbands as well.

Silver hairband - SD
I still need to get more small paper flowers. Should have some of those around somewhere. While I have my sewing stuff scattered around I probably will acquire more or less some similar stuff. Oh well. They are always in the wrong location while you are somewhere else and would be in need of them.

The Silver hairband with small paper flowers and a Silver butterfly detail is one of the first ones. There will be more, both in MSD/Tiny and SD sized ones.

For last year's Dolliverse I made one Alice themed glass bottle. Now I found I still had some more which I wanted to decorate. Perfect for displaying. Both are filled with jewellery stones that can be used as each has a hole in them. Other than that they look cute displayed in the bottle. I will offer them up for sale later on.

Glass bottles with Jewellery Stones - Pefrect for displaying!

Seems I have finally got over my sewing block and some of the pieces I had plans for are starting to take shape. Slowly but surely. While I have other demanding things to do I use some of my spare time to advance my sewing plans a little. I am very happy about the fact that the situation has finally taken a turn towards creativity mode again. Hopefully just in time for another Dolliverse.

My attendance to Dolliverse 2014 has been confirmed more or less. I am happy about that as well. Already have several ideas for the table display. I am still undecided which of my girls will be my table model this year. It probably depends whether I have any dolls for sale at the time, if that would be the case they might as well play as models while being on display to find a new home.

In my previous post I mentioned about a pullip custom I am going to make. Yup. I found some nice black eyelashes, she will have something of a lace like eyelids and the dress from a flowery fabric. The color is so far undecided but I am debating between black and beige. Might go for beige as I rather have her in light colors than black black. I am a bit afraid to continue with her - the next stage is face-up.

Please check the store for new additions =^-^=

Plans, Dolliverse and Headbands

I am slowly starting to recover from my lack of inspiration period.
Not fully there yet, but Spring and all this sunlight is also helping me.
At least headbands are inspiring me.
Just finished two new ones and managed to put them up at the Store.
Previously I forgot to add some of the stuff, but sure enough I will add everything now.

Nene reaching up towards little bird houses I have made as props.
Maybe they will end up on my Dolliverse table this year?
MIO kit has a lovely box.
I made the decision to go to Dolliverse this year as well.
Planning the table should start at some point, but I feel it is a bit early for that at the moment.

I previously made cute bird houses, which might be up at the table. Huge fan of origami cranes as well. Maybe there would be something to consider? Definedly something cute and pink. I have been encouraged to make a Pullip custom as well. I have been a bit hesitant about that, but finally managed to buy a MIO Pullip kit. So, that is my next bigger Project. To complete this Pullip custom. For the time being my deadline has been set to be Dolliverse (she would be up for sale there) but might complete her sooner if I can. Eye mechanism keeps scaring me...

As I said above, I have been inspired to try some headbands (at least!). So I was able to use some of the new ribbons and foam flowers I acquired. Those have been sitting on my table for quite a while now. Sadly. But now it is over. For some of the flowers and ribbons. I think I will do few more. I want to try out those lime flowers I found as well as some minty ribbon - do you think they would work together?
Nene was my model for both of the new headbands.
However, they fit well on SD and MSD heads as well.

Here are some pictures of the two new designs. I especially like how the feathers look like on the second headband. Both of these have been posted up at the Store as well.
Two new headband designs.
One with feathers as I felt like trying them out.
I hope you like them!
I think that is all for now. I will be back with more designs and updates regarding the Pullip custom as well as other things. I received Luts Event heads as well, considering whether to do a face-up on them or sell them blank. At the moment blank is my reference as all my face-up stuff is in Finland. The difficulties when you live in another country. The distance is not so easily covered.

Small headbands and furry hats

Maybe it is Christmas time or then just a feeling that there is plenty of things to do.
I am inspired to a certain degree (always the case when there is no time) and would love to try out various dress designs and other things. When I actually have time to do that remains a mystery. I am eagerly waiting for Christmas Holiday to begin (next week!).

As I said in my previous post I have been busy with commissions. I recently got a commission for full MSD dress set and I have visited fabric stores in order to find some suitable fabrics for it. I did do an extensive cleaning in my fabric box and put all my fabrics in the same place so they would be easy to find. There are so many and I still don't have enough!

Of course I do not feel like sewing all the time. So I wanted to make some more of the headbands. Now in smaller size as the previous ones were all for  SD/Super Gem sized. These three were made for Yo-SD/Tiny but also fit small headed MSDs.

Yesterday I finished one commissioned headband similar to the first design shown in these picture but in white / pale orange colors. So yes, these are available to be commissioned in the colors /sizes you wish for provided that I have the flowers around in that particular color / style.

The first design was sold before I had the chance to post it up in the store, but the other two similar designs will be available through the store.

Some quick pictures of the new furry hats I previously mentioned. There are three designs and they fit for heads 8-9 as well as 9-10 inch. Their insides are lined with japanese pattern fabrics. Strangely enough the animals seem to be straight out from Alice in Wonderland without me noticing it while making them. I guess it isn't very hard to figure out what is one of my favourite stories.. And certainly one of those that inspire me a lot.

Hisa made it back to me. She was having a new face-up with her twin sister Himawari ~ Both of them came back to me, Hisa home and Himawari to visit so I can take lovely twin pictures (Himawari just has to borrow someone's body.. ). They make nice models for the hats, don't you think?

I did make three hats out of the furry fabric until it ran out. However, I was left with tiny pieces and I didn't want them to go to waste. Thus I made a furry collar and an armwarmer for SD/Supergem girls. They are offered as a set. Nice for some winter themed pictures, right?

Furry bunny hat with black stitching and Furry cat hat with white stitching.

Furry mouse hat and collar + armwarmer set on Hisa
Now I am off to update the store so that these new furry wintery items will be available. Thank you for reading!

Yo-SD/Tiny clothing

I believe I promised pictures of the clothing stuffs as well.
Although I had different sized stuff on my list it seems my pictures include only tiny clothing I made.
It seems I have a period to do something for smaller sizes, so I don't think there will be much SD stuff coming in near future. Probably also because I only have my MSD and Tiny around at the moment.

In these pictures you see Nene, Soom Sammi who recently arrived. I was in need of a tiny model and Soom Ai just didn't seem to work for me. Now I have Nene to try out. I have a special head for her as well, but I haven't gotten around doing the face-up for it just yet. It has been raining a lot. Maybe within two weeks time I might be able to do that..

Knee-lengt Yo-SD/Tiny sized dress
I have no idea what kind of style I would like for her, but she looks nice with this new dress. Button details in front and corset style details with ribbons at the back along with lace. Nice one ~

The same knee-length tiny dress has interesting details at the back..
With ribbon you can adjust it better ~
The color of the fabric suits her pink skin. I believe I have posted this for sale already so please take a look.

I was suppose to proceed and try some patterns I have, but I didn't get there yet. Instead I ended up drawing a new pattern for a simple Yo-SD/Tiny sized yukata. I received some lovely kimono fabrics as well as lots of polkadot fabrics to try out some plans. Now I think I do have enough fabrics to work on for a while. No fabric orders coming to my way. Well, maybe laces and buttons(!), but still.

Other thing I finished already a while ago. A waist high skirt in tiny size. Previously I mentioned something about doing Mix & Match stuff and this was one of those. I also have one simpler one in SD size once I get it fully finished.
Yo-SD/Tiny Mix & Match Macarons fabric skirt
I have various plans to buy wigs and eyes. I want to use them in the pictures as my girls hardly have any extra ones. Its also nice to change the style from time to time. So maybe later there will be pictures with more effort for display purposes. I would love to develop my skills with photographing dolls. I try to take more innovative shots rather than only head/close-ups. Might consider that as one good promise for next year. As for now I am afraid of those many Winter Events coming around... Already have few I need to consider... But enough of that.

As my last thing here I wish to mention that also bunny hats have gained some recognition :3
Received few commissions regarding them and will start working next week.

Scrapbooking and jewellery

Weekend came and went. All too fast.
As promised I was able to complete a lot during the weekend time while having 'leisure time' for myself'.
I like scrapbooking so I wanted to test whether this kind of book would come out nicely.
It did, in my opinion at least. A bit bigger for Tiny and probably just a right size for an SD sized doll.
Scrapbooking - A tiny book - just a right size for dolls ~!
I plan to make few more for sale in the future as well. Along with the one pictured here.

I use a lot scrapbooking papers to make all kind of stuff. Also finished few boxes of which I didn't take any pictures. Good for storing little things.

Sometimes magazines are a good place to get inspiration from ~

Tiny-sized butterfly handcuffs
New jewellery designs - SD/MSD/Tiny
Usually I do not buy many magazines or anything. However, there are few publications I like. One of them is Daphne's Diary which has nice little things - DIY stuff and interesting articles from antique markets, places etc. Too bad we don't have something similar in Finland. So, while I have  the chance I enjoy reading this one.

More than  sewing I have had energy to do some smaller things like jewellery and arm cuffs. First batch of jewellery was well received so I wanted to make some more out of the little stuff I had around. New designs can be seen from the picture below. What is also nice is that they are suitable for variety of dolls without looking into their size. Necklace is just longer for smaller dolls :3

In some of my previous entries I mentioned I had done few tiny sized head pieces. Here is one picture of them. I was suppose to take pictures of them on a doll's head as well, but unfortunately I forgot.. Next time..

SD-sized handcuffs were also well received so I wanted to try something similar in tiny size. As I love butterflies and Fireflies it was natural to try something like this. Butterfly themed handcuffs ~ Quite like them myself.

I plan to put them up at the store at later stage, as well as the other things shown in this entry. They were made for sale after all.

Must say I am pretty satisfied when I look at how much things I was able  to finish. In this entry I did not include the clothing stuff which I managed to work on as well. I will save those pictures to be posted later this week.

It seems to be the time for Christmas parties. Not that I have received invitations, but the general mood is there. Dark evening make me feel tired though. There is not much light to take photos either. I only have weekends when I am able to enjoy the whole day.
Such are the winters.

Eagerly waiting for snow to come. Still no sign of that in the way that it would stay on the ground. Too warm still. But I know there will be a time for that. If not sooner I will see it once I go up North. In the Netherlands snow is just a one week phenomenon which messes up everything whereas in Finland its suppose to be nearly half a year occurrence. Quite a difference there.

I hope I was able to provide some pictures of the new things and that they will be well received as well.

Please keep checking back for more updates.
Clothing entry is soon to follow although I may already post the items for sale :3
Also, if there is something you are interested in, but its in a wrong size/color please feel free to ask whether its possible to make the kind you would wish for. I do accept commissions occassionally when the time permits.

Updates coming soon

It is apparent that I have been rather quiet recently.
I have had a lot going on in my life and thus haven't had much time for sewing.

Hisa is away getting a new face-up and I am missing her terribly.
During the spring she was my primary model for SD dresses and although I now have a possibility to use my other SD girls (Vanamo - Volks Kurumi and Aya - CP DES) as models it is hard to change my preferred model.
Hisa's body got hot-glue sueded of which I am very glad. She is able to pose better.

No pictures for this post as I had to leave my camera behind as well.
Next month is sure to be more productive. Both pictures and clothing.

During my short summer break (3 weeks only and constantly travelling) I was able to use few days to sew one dress out of the lovely Etsy fabrics I got earlier. Pretty much the same style as my previous ones, with some nice details. Vanamo was the model for that one, therefore it will fit to SD girls with larger bust. Next post will probably bring around few pictures.

I am also happy to announce that MSD sized clothing will be available next month.
I have few plans for MSD sized full dresses from some fabrics I found from my closet.
Those will most likely have layer designs, those were previously well received and I wish to do more.

I have been requested to try out some bloomers.
Made a few attempts in tiny size. If those come out okay later they may also become available.
So far the pattern has made progress, but not quite enough for me to be satisfied.

Thank you for reading,

Commission and White Rabbit outfit

Lately I have been rather quiet. It has to do with summer holiday and the fact that I have been unable to gain access to internet for most of the time. Now that period is more or less over. This means I will be able to update more often.

Here is what has happened. After Dolliverse I got commissioned to make an MSD sized version of the bunny outfit I had made in tiny and SD size. Additional arm cuffs were requested as well. One picture of how it turned out. I had no MSD model available so the dress was made accoding to the size chart. A bit more difficult since I prefer to see it on a doll while making my dresses. Different methods need to be applied sometimes.

Tsukifly MSD commission dress for meymeez.
For more pictures please check her Flickr:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/58332578@N03/9309811770/lightbox/
From what I remember I already hinted I was working on Alice in Wonderland themed dresses as my next "bigger" project. First one of those is White Rabbit, now posted for sale as well. The dress comes with upper corset top, choker, arm cuffs, bunny ear headdress and a puffy skirt. Size is Super gem or similar sized dolls. Luella acting as a model for these few pictures.

First Alice themed dress: White Rabbit

Dress and all its parts
I have also used some nice macaron/Paris themed fabrics for few new SD dresses, knee lenght. I hope to get pictures of them at some point when I finish smaller details. Inspired to use the fabrics. Now I have my MSD model around as well. It is likely that  moreMSD sized dresses will soon be available.

Decorative flower headpieces

If you have checked Tsukifly's Store regularly you might have noticed that I have added few new designs after the headpieces I introduced in the previous post. After that post the blue one pictured at the bottom found a new home. I am happy and its currently waiting to be shipped.

So, encouraged by some of the comments I got concerning the previous headpieces I wanted to try a bit more decorative ones with more details. This naturally meant more flowers. Also tried out some new color combinations.
Only white flowers. I must say I like the bridal look of this one.

This one is my favourite out of the four new ones. Used colors are blue, white and gray.
Seems to go well with Luella.

This one is the most extensive, the Store has a better picture of the details.
Used colors are pink, white, gray and blue.

One with less details and big flowers to balance out my day :3
Almost all of the new headpieces have been listed for sale as well. I will also post the last one with less details later on. Currently I am working on a complete dress set for Supergem girls. Unfortunately that is the only size I have a model for at the moment. All my girls are elsewhere except for Luella and I am eagerly waiting to get back to them once my summer holiday begins at the end of next week. During my holiday I have bunch of plans and I wish to take more creative photos. Inside photos aren't really what I like to take, but in the absence of an alternative... Well, have to take those for a while. Anyway, the dress set will be OOAK white rabbit 'girl' version. Just to reveal something about it.

Tsukifly has a store~!

I must say I did not plan to set up a store so quickly.
However, I concluded it would be easier to keep track of what I have in stock and what I would like to make next. Some variety in products will be achieved through this, I hope.

The Store can be found from: http://tsukifly.storenvy.com/
I will try to keep it as updated as possible. Most of the stock I have available ready  to be shipped are now there. The blog as well as the story are still to be made more user friendly. I will be doing the work when I have time. Please enjoy~

New products include underwears!~
I heard they might be wanted so I wanted to try and make some.
This is a set offered at the shop, includes both top and panties pictured. Size is SD, but I plan to try some in MSD as well. Later also MNF size if I am able to get my hands on a model.
Navy blue SD underwear set
I am very pleased how Supergem bra turned out. The color is not exactly what my girl would wear but then again they were made out of curiosity. Personally I love how the details came out.
Fitted pink bra for Supergems
I also had some cute leftover stuff to make some necklaces. I still have plans for several others but they have to wait a little until I have more time to think about them.
Also a cute Lollipop/ribbon necklace. Have to have some accessories as well.
Overall a lot of work for one day. I think I have earned my break. Please keep checking back.

New design and a pullip dress

Dolliverse has gone and other things have been in my mind.
My lovely suitcases.
White one for Alina (CP Juri '05) and pink/flower one for Vanamo and Hisa
Also found cute pastilles.
My dear friend went back to China and I am also leaving the Netherlands for a while to do my internship.
I am hoping to have access to sewing machine and my extensive fabric collection better when I get back home home. I suspect I might feel like opening a treasure chest or something~

At least now I have some pictures to share.
The suitcases I chose from our table at Dolliverse to be used for some dolly photos later. Absolutely love their details. There is also a hot air balloon necklace thing shown on one of the suitcases. That is going to be a necklace for either Hisa or Vanamo. Will see who will claim it once I get it done.

As said in my previous post there would have been more demand for pullip sized dresses.
I decided to test one as my dear friend was kind enough to provide me one extra body as a model.
Poor thing is headless, not really an ideal model but still, the dress can be shown :3
The light blue Pullip dress shown above is currently for sale: 17 Euros +  shipping

My lovely Luella (Soom MD Cuprit) is modeling a new lace tie back top.
Etsy fabrics which I will use later for dresses
Too dark for her style, but this was made to be offered for sale.
I think I like the design though. Also love the details through laces and ribbons (there are two at the back, as well as nother detail as there is only one snap fastener). I am fan of my own things~

I got loads of new fabrics and ribbons.
My lovely friend contributed a lot - Thank you sweetie

I had also placed an Etsy order for some new fabrics. They arrived this week and are absolutely lovely. Have to wait a bit till I get around doing something with them but they are so nice to look at. Keep it as a glimpse of what might be used for future designs.

Black lace tie back top.

I must say I was very happy to receive a commission work for one of my dress designs.
I will be updating picture of the finished product once that has been done.
As for the designs I can do them in different sizes if there is interest.

I am going to update commission/general infos and such later on. I have been considering whether to open an Etsy shop of my own. However, so far I don't have enough courage or time for that. Would need to do some better picture taking.

Maybe later then. For now I will just enjoy using all these new fabrics and surfing Etsy for new things (there can never be enough)..

Dolliverse 2013

So, yesterday I attended to Dolliverse 2013, a wonderful dolly event here in the Netherlands.
Met a lot of wonderful people and a special thanks to all those who liked my dresses and bought them.

Last time I had issues as I had very little time to prepare and very little to sell.
Now I had more which is why it took so long to get the stand up.
All those price tags...
I feel I was right to make tiny dresses as there were many tinies to  try them out.
However, I did notice that more Pullip sized clothing would have been needed.
Both dresses I had in Pullip size were sold.
There is something for me to consider for the next time I hope.
So, a list to remind me later.

To do better next time:
- Stand display planning
- Pullip sized clothing
- MSD sized clothing

Mai - DD-Anne March Hare is searching for a new home, she was also on display at the table.
Thus, it was not only the clothing but also DD-Anne table set and her, which made half of the display for this time.

Overall I am very pleased how the day went.
Now I will post some of the remaining stock to Den of Angels for sale.
The actual sales post can be viewed here:

Some pictures from yesterday as well. To share my excitement of the day.
My Hisa ( the one standing) and her twin sister Himawari were the cuties of our table

My attempt to take a picture of the stand itself..

A closer picture of the Tsukifly side of the table (as I shared my table with my friend).

My next plans are to work on some Alice in Wonderland themed dress sets.
I have plans for at least a girly white rabbit outfit set - So far I have half finished with a hat.
Also I need to plan a Cheshire outfit. Each of my girls is to take on a character from Alice in a photoshoot.
Once I get there someday. Of course would be awesome to make all the outfits for them myself under Tsukifly.
That is something to try at least.
So yes, that is all for now.
